A little about me

I moved to Annerley Brisbane in 2021. I speak several languages Tagalog, Spanish, and basic Portuguese. For more than a decade, I lived across our beautiful planet from the Americas, Russia, Thailand, Philippines, Argentina, Chile, Brasil, and Europe. My life experiences are immense. Much of my specialist therapies are a by-product of a lived-in experience.

We are conveniently located at 21 Waverley Street Annerley Brisbane 4103. All sessions (45 to 60 minutes) are strictly by appointment only.
To inquire for an appointment (15 minute phone consultation free) please call John on 0438045007

I’m interested in finding out what’s happened to you, not what’s ‘wrong’ with you.

The 18th-century philosopher and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.” It’s difficult to describe a therapeutic counselling approach without it sounding overly technical so let’s try and keep it simple! My practice has no boss. You and I must be equal partners in understanding the best way forward. My emphasis is based on an integrative coaching and mindfulness-based approach tailored to an individual’s specific needs. I am trained in psychodynamic and existentialist therapies among other pathways.

The important bit… Academic Qualifications:

I am a fully qualified, experienced, insured, accredited member of ACCA (The Australian Community Counseling Association). I completed my formal education in counselling by completing a Diploma of Counseling from the Uniting Institute of Education NSW. I continued to finish a BACoun Bachelor of Arts Counseling graduating from the University of Notre Dame Sydney.
